MEET OUR TEAM

HI, I'M BRITTANI
My name is Brittani DaSilva, MS, RD, CPT. I am a Registered Dietitian Nutrition Coach, NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Army Veteran, and founder of Freedom Nutrition Academy.
In my spare time, you can find me lifting heavy weights, testing new recipes, traveling or camping with my hubby, son, and dog Teddy, or relaxing on the Jersey Shore.
As a young nutrition professional, I started out in the world of sports nutrition. I interned with a professional football team, the New York Jets, and then went on to work as a sports dietitian at Rutgers University. Although I love the world of helping athletes optimize their sports performance, I didn't love all the travel and or time away from family that came with it (especially after my fair share of time apart from my husband while serving in the military).
That's when I decided to step into the world of Virtual Nutrition Coaching. As a one-woman show, I created countless transformations that have helped so many women and men end their war with dieting and truly feel free in their bodies again. As the demand for coaching increased, and with a desire to positively impact more women and men, I decided to expand my team. Freedom Nutrition Academy was born.
Our mission here at Freedom Nutrition Academy is to help you learn how to nourish your body in a fun and flexible way that fits your lifestyle. We'll empower you with knowledge, skills and provide you with the accountability and support you need to build healthy habits that will help you sustain your results for the long run.
HI, I'M ALLISON
Allison Stackpoole, PN1 Certified Nutrition Coach, is a busy wife and mom of three very energetic young kids. You can usually find her in Michigan dashing to the next drop off or car pool with her kids. Being prepared but flexible is her way of life and she is rocking it! She loves 90s music (especially blasting in her minivan), board games and has never met a cereal she doesn't like. She grew up very active in sports and life. After spending a good chunk of years being pregnant, nursing and continually raising three children, however, her focus shifted and she was left with a body she didn't recognize. She was ready to reclaim it for herself and knew fads and quick fixes weren’t the answer.
She achieved her own incredible transformation both inside and out using a macros, flexible diet approach. She lost nearly 40 lbs the steady and sustainable route, while still enjoying her cereal along the way. Through macros, mindset shifts, and healthy lifestyle changes she achieved a mind and body that feels and moves great! Now she's addicted to weightlifting and lights up when her kids say she's the strongest person they know. Although sometimes it may take a bit longer than she'd like, she also loves getting her kids involved with preparing foods in her kitchen. She’s such a great leader and role model in her family and for other busy moms. It isn’t a surprise Allison thrives in the coaching setting having achieved a Bachelor's degree in journalism and communications from Michigan State. She also completed the Precision Nutrition Level 1 certification to help hone her skills on how to make health and fitness achievable and attainable for every type of person, from every walk of life.
Allison is knowledgeable and enthusiastic about helping others carve out their journey to sustainable health and fitness. She wants you to know, you can have your cake and eat it, too!

HI, I'M SHANNA
Hi! I’m Shanna Daly, PN1 Certified Nutrition Coach. I am a Navy veteran, a RN, a wife and busy mom of 3, and I am passionate about nutrition and how it changed my life. In the summer of 2023 I found myself at a crossroads. I was 2 years sober and had survived my first year without my mom. We had just purchased our forever home and I was exhausted and sore from moving in. Nothing in my closet fit and I did not feel comfortable in my own skin. I knew something had to change. And I was ready!

Even as a Registered Nurse and as a 40 year old woman, I had never truly learned how to build a balanced plate. I had succumbed to every fad diet you can imagine, almost always requiring me to eliminate entire food groups at a time. I would drop weight initially but the burnout, fatigue, and deprivation kept any of these diets from being sustainable. I wanted to learn once and for all how to fuel my body properly so that I didn’t just look good but felt good for the long haul. I wanted off the dieting hamster wheel. I wanted MORE for me and for my family. And that’s why I partnered with a PN1 coach at FNA!

Over 9 months I was able to use tracking macronutrients to drop 40lbs AND I’ve kept it off eating intuitively (meaning not tracking!) for a year!! I fell in love with walking and lifting weights. My energy and mood have never been better. My family has benefited immensely, with my husband eventually joining me and losing over 50lb himself! After seeing the ways this truly changed my life and my family’s trajectory I felt inspired to become certified as a Precision Nutrition Coach myself. It has become not only my passion but truly a personal responsibility to share the knowledge, insight, patience, and growth that was shared with me by my FNA PN1 Coach!

Listen, this is a big step. It’s personal, vulnerable, and at many times I thought What’s the point?? Food is personal! You are a unique and very special individual, shaped by a personal history with food and dieting. Your experiences and beliefs around food are just as important as your macronutrient intake (don’t know what a macro is? Don’t worry! We will get there!).

Only ACTION creates change. We can study, learn, and build a mountain of knowledge but it is only when we apply it that we bridge the gap between knowledge and results. That’s where I come in! We will be working together to limit your barriers and expand on your strengths to find a uniquely personal plan that works for you. And I am so excited to help you find what works best for you because YOU, my friend, are SO worth it.
HI, I'M JENNIFER
I’m Jennifer Fleck, CPT. I am currently a nutrition intern and a Master’s student in Nutritional Sciences at Rutgers University, where I’m also completing my clinical dietetic internship rotations. I earned my Bachelor’s in Nutrition and Dietetics from Rutgers as well, and throughout my education, I’ve had the opportunity to work in sports nutrition with several university athletic teams, helping student-athletes fuel for performance, recovery, and overall health.
I played sports my whole life but stopped competing when I got to college. I still wanted to stay active and move my body, but the gym felt intimidating and scary at first. Eventually, I pushed myself to go, and I instantly fell in love with lifting and movement. Friends and family started noticing my progress and asking for advice, which inspired me to pursue my NASM Certified Personal Trainer certification. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of training clients to help them build strength, confidence, and sustainable fitness habits.
I’m also passionate about food, especially recipe development. I love experimenting in the kitchen, testing out new meal ideas, and creating balanced recipes that are both nourishing and exciting. I combine this with my love for food photography and content creation to make nutrition approachable, fun, and personalized.
In my free time, you’ll often find me thrift shopping. There’s something special about hunting for unique finds and giving items a second life.
Whether I’m coaching, cooking, or creating, I’m here to help others find freedom in their wellness journey and enjoy the process along the way.
